Booking Terms
These terms apply to all reservations made through galaxymobiledj.com — photo booth, DJ & MC and event lighting.
Reservation & deposit
A $100 deposit per photo booth or a $250 deposit per DJ reserves your date, package and start time. The deposit is applied to your total. It is non-refundable but transferable to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability. Schools and districts — and approved corporate clients — may reserve by invoice or purchase order with no deposit; we provide our W-9 and certificate of insurance.
Balance
Only the deposit is charged when you book. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event. We email a reminder with a secure link so you can pay online with any card — we never charge a card automatically. Bookings made inside 14 days are due in full at the time of booking.
Changes & cancellation
You may change your package, hours or add-ons up to 14 days before the event; any price difference is applied to the balance. Cancellations more than 30 days out forfeit only the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days are billed at 50% of the total; within 7 days, in full.
Setup requirements
Please provide level space and standard 120 V power near the setup area — roughly 8×10 ft with an outlet within 25 feet for a photo booth, and a dedicated outlet with safe access for DJ and sound. For outdoor events, please provide cover from rain and direct sun. We need load-in access at least 60 minutes before the start time. Travel fees are applied by county as published on the site; parking or venue fees, if any, are passed through at cost.
Operation
Service runs continuously from the start time selected. Idle hours, if purchased, occur before the start time. Our staff may pause briefly for safety or equipment care. For weddings and events, timelines and announcements are coordinated through your planning portal or with your coordinator.
Photos & media
For photo booth bookings, guests receive prints and digital copies at the booth, and we keep the digital files for two years so you can request reprints. We may use event photos in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing before the event.
Liability
Galaxy Mobile DJ & Photo Booth carries general liability insurance and can name your venue as additional insured on request. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. Client is responsible for damage to equipment caused by guests.
